nov 2011 trip to spain

The winter in spain also produces some very good fishing,had catfish to 186lb,carp to 44lb and my friend had carp to 54lb with lots of 40,s and three over 50lb ,also had some cracking roach ,contact me for details on trips to spain .

Heres some cod and stuff from a recent trip to the bristol channel,fished a low water mark ,with baits of ragworm combined with fresh mackeral strips,and squid stuffed with ragworm,had two cod of 4lb and 6lb,both caught on the mackeral,fished the tide two hours down and two hours up,first fish coming at the ebb and second coming on the flood.

carp in an unusual location!

I photographed these carp on a recent trip to istanbul they were living in a large underground cave with no natural light in water less than two foot deep,some of the fish were well over 20lb with a few in low 30s.

The first picture is an average shoal of mullet,note the large carp swiming below them,second picture is a catfish being landed from a boat and the third is shoal of mullet being attacked by catfish.
